271. Owl Icon
Hoooooooooooooo.
Only 94 icons are left in this little project. None of them are designed yet, though some have been started. I have a scratch file that contains all of the icons in this project, including a ton of half-completed ones. Unless I have a strong idea already in my head when I sit down to design the day's icon, I'll either look at the list I've gathered of potential icons, or scan through my scratch file for any unfinished ones that could use that extra push to get them over the finish line. Take this owl icon, for example. I've tried to add an owl to the Year of Icons on a few occasions, but was never quite happy with how the design was turning out. So today I decided to finish it up. It's not perfect by any means, but I like the little guy. I hope you do, too.
